Money.co.uk is a free, online comparison service that allows you to compare thousands of financial products.

From credit cards and loans to current and savings, or insurance and investments, our aim is help you find the best products for your circumstances and provide you with the guidance you need when making life's most important financial decisions.

At money.co.uk, we want to help people make life's most important financial decisions. Since our inception in 2008, our North Star has been to help people save money and make confident choices.

We work with hundreds of providers to give our users with our best deals for their circumstances, so they aren't paying anymore than they absolutely have to. We also strive to provide our users with the most up-to-date information they need to make informed financial decisions.

Our history

Money.co.uk was founded in 2008 with the singular aim of helping consumers save money.

Over the years we've welcomed a lot of changes. But our commitment to helping our users save money and feel confident when making financial decisions has never wavered.

2008

Inception

Money.co.uk is launched and quickly becomes one of the fastest growing price comparison sites in the UK, offering 100s of financial products and guides to help people make informed financial decisions.

2017

ZPG acquires money.co.uk

Money.co.uk becomes part of the Zoopla family, joining Uswitch - UK's leading site for switching home services - and other brands as part of ZPG Ltd.

2018

Red Ventures and Silverlake

Red Ventures, a US digital media company, and private equity firm Silverlake, invest in the ZPG group to form RVU.


2021

RVU acquires Penguin Portals

RVU adds Confused.com, Rastreator and LeLynx.fr, providing a unique financial services and home services offering, across the UK, France, and Spain.
