Putting money in

I went to the Ellesmere Port branch, here I had just sold my car and saved up some money from work, I was putting in about 5,000 pound, the member of staff was very rude and arrogant, I felt as if I was being interrogated by the women, I have a great salary go into my bank and have banked with them for more than 5years, a mixture of jealousy and arrogance came to mind, she was very sarcastic and in a way made me feel guilty for being honest, I hope this branch changes there staff because the honest and HARDWORKING customers that go there will change bank elsewhere, terrible service

Easy to contact and internet bank

Competitive rate, customer service to be worked on

One of the top paying cash isa's at 2%. Rarely gets a mention in the usual 'top paying isas' columns on websites and newspapers which is bizarre as it pays better than so many. Worth noting that the interest rat are tiered though. Only catch is the 40 day notice for withdrawals. Applying could have been easier; done via phone call and paperwork was lacking when first arrived. Accept transfers in and this was done swiftly with no issue. Very happy overall.

Easy to set up and manage

Easy set up and manage online. Friendly staff who made the application process smooth. Device makes the online management secure. I was able to walk in and set mine up then and there however it is also possible to pre-book an appointment by going in branch or phoning beforehand. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of setting up a savings account

Saving accounts-Yorkshire Bank.

You can make more returns with their current account with a much smaller figure. Interest is almost non-existent and really not worthwhile. Whilst their customer service is excellent their offer of products do not match up. Even their I.S.A rates are not very good and you could do a lot better. This is a bank I have dealt with for many years but very disappointed with saving rates.

Yorkshire Bank - Terrible Customer Service

I've had an account with Yorkshire Bank for 1.5 years and I still cannot get them to tell me what my balance is. They never provide interest statements and are impossible to contact via phone or email.
