Scottish Building Society was founded in 1848 - as well as being the first and only remaining building society in Scotland, it is also the world's oldest. It is owned by its members, who can vote on how it's run. Their savings accounts include ISAs, regular savers, notice accounts and instant access accounts. They also offer accounts for younger savers, including Junior ISAs. Further, they provide mortgages and home insurance policies.
