Old Customers Ignored?

Our Savings Account was opened many moons ago when my husband was a teen. We have received no word of it the account is suitable for our savings, nothing - so not really much we can say.

I can't comment on Customer Service as we have not actually discussed this account with anyone in branch or over the phone in 15 years.

RBS Savings Accounts Review

RBS like all banks at the moment are not offering the greatest of interest rates but they have always been my bank and I don't know if there is any reason to change to another just to find out that the rates change just after you've gone. I am not a money guru and am happy with the advice that the bank gives me when I have a review. The staff are always friendly, helpful people and make the visit to the bank a little easier to understand when you have a question.

Multiple savings accounts with RBS

I have several savings accounts with RBS.

I'm not so interested in the interest rate as the ability to manage all my accounts in the one place online. With RBS you can do this easily.

There is also the ability to set up savings aims that encourage you to set money aside regularly.

Would recommend RBS.

The only annoying thing about them is there constant market selling of products when you go into branch.

Savings accounts

Customer services advised me on the best account that would be best for my needs. They also advise you if you have a target amount and time limit wether you will reach your target in the time limit you have set. Also you can remove your money when you want it with no penalties. All this can be done on line or mobile. This I find very handy.

easy to use good value

It is easy to open an account with this company. You can do this online in branch or over the phone. They update your account accordingly so you never lose track of your spending . You get a debit card with this account but not interest. Customer service is fantastic if you ever have any questions and there is also the option of a live chat on their website
