This Progressive building society Clockwork Regular Saver account is a rare one which still pays 3.3% and the amount payable in has recently increased to £500pm. You are only alloud one withdrawal per year - but as it says 'it a savings account' Customer services are great and staff are informed, helpful and opening hours are good. Althou main branches are scarce there are plenty of agents and their advertising shows clearly their offers and rates on both mortgages and accounts.

Good interest rate

Only up to £500pm and no lump sums permitted
