Professional friendly service

Lovely friendly service with a smile - at least at my branch - and that's having moved from one not-so-helpful Building Society (mentioning no names, but having 3 syllables, ending in DUH.) They've been very helpful with my hopeless track of spending, and now send me helpful texts giving me a chance to pay money in if I'm about to be overdrawn.

Good service and always considerate

I got rejected by almost all banks when I went to open an account. HSBC, Barclays, Nationwide, Santander and all major players on the High Street. The reason was that I was new to the UK and I did not have a permanent residential address. It was crazy. Then I went to Lloyds bank and asked them to open me an account. They asked me to get a letter and the same day gave me my account number, internet banking id and password. Also, the interest rates they give are fairly competitive.

Club Lloyds Monthly Saver with 4% interest

This is a reasonable savings account offering 4% interest on up to £400 a month over 12 months. I am aware of better offers such as First Directs 6% on £300 a month, but as a basic savings account this has the advantage of being able to move your standing order date on the months where cash is tighter or for people like me who don't get paid on a set day every month. This is a good little account and I have had no problems with it and no problems recommending it. Better than the return on any ISA that I've seen

Low interest but good customer service.

The only criticism of savings accounts at the moment are of the incredibly low interest rates, with one of my accounts only earning 0.2% Lloyds do have a great customer service though and my accounts do allow for easy access of my money should I need it. For this reason I have stayed with Lloyds hoping that the interest rates may increase. However I would not recommend them at present simply because I have seen better offers around.

Excellent customer service, and easy access to money

Lloyds bank service levels are great

Great service, competitive offers. Website is easy to navigate. Extensive branch network. Really expansive range of products which offer great variety. Isas are very flexible. Got mortgage through them, advice given was first class.

Staff in branch always very courteous. Queues tend to be short.

Telephone banking service is easy to use.

Knowledgable staff
