I have been saving with this monthly saver account for years. The money you put in is allowed to stay there indefinitely and the interest rate is good. The new staff at the office of what is now the Cooperative Society did not realise how good this was, not understanding that a bonus rate applied to this account. There are rules which demand a payment each month for twelve months, but this is not a problem when a direct debit is set up. At the anniversary of the account, the interest plus bonus is added to the account and you can just keep on saving at this great rate.
Monthly direct debit, so no hassle
