Chris founded money.co.uk's parent company, Dot Zinc Limited, at the height of the dot com bust in 2000.

Thanks to Chris's shrewd eye for business and continued innovation, the company has been profitable since its second month of trading.

Chris's leadership of money.co.uk draws upon his long experience advising the UK banking and finance sector on the deployment of new technologies - ranging from internal systems to online banking and security.

Between 1998 and 2001, Chris was a senior consultant at Oracle, a role which saw him advise banks including Barclays, Lloyds and Citibank, and play a lead role in the development of the world's first WAP service for Barclays.

Chris pioneered the PPC affiliate directory model in the early 2000s, launching financelink.co.uk - one of the UK's first finance directories - as his nascent project and negotiating partnerships with eSpotting and Overture.

He also developed and marketed numerous other affiliate websites including AskBaby.com, one of the most popular baby portals of its time.

During the early years of the business, Chris focused on developing the skills he needed to design, develop, monetise and promote websites.

His practical skill set, which includes website design, optimisation and development, business analysis, commercial negotiations and SEO, PPC and email marketing, complements his natural flair for leadership, vision and strategy.

Chris purchased the domain money.co.uk in 2008, launching a financial comparison website that he has managed to keep at the forefront of an incredibly challenging industry for the past 7 years.

Now, with a team of just 46, money.co.uk rivals companies many times its size and is a leading financial comparison website.

Today Chris uses this wealth of experience to make sure money.co.uk continues to provide its loyal followers with an ever growing array of tools, guides and resources to help them make better financial decisions.

Chris is also a director and part-owner of Kagoo, a comparison website for electrical and electronic goods; co-founder of the online trading website 3D Markets and is a non-executive director on the board of Money&Co, a crowd funding website launched by Nicola Horlick.
