Do not get one, avoid them at all costs.

I loaded £300 into mine, below the lower limit but Pockit wouldn't put the money onto the card without me upgrading to a higher limit card, they wanted me to send in my passport details and driving license details etc. as proof of identity.

I have no idea where this personal info is going to end up. India probably. They also wanted to know what I was going to use the money for!

I asked for the money to be returned. I am still waiting a week later and have still not seen my money.

They are a scam, avoid them.

What a crook! The embarrassed me with £70+ on the card!

What kind of company embarrasses you by declining a transaction while requesting for proof of address and ID 12 months after you have been using them?

Customer services asked for a ridiculous amount of security then told me they would not discuss it I had to wait up to 48 hours for an email.

All staff sound foreign and obviously do not give a crap about service. I am fuming, humiliated and now an ex-customer! Even worse, they still owe me £70+

Pockit prepaid MasterCard

Such fast service. I got my card in 2 days, I loaded money to it online immediately and it was so easy to use on my mobile.

I really like being able to load my card while on the go. Their customer service was also really good, I received an immediate response to my question, and they were really helpful.

I'm very happy with my Pockit card, it's a great way to manage my money!

Steer clear of this card

I would not recommend this company. Tried to load money several times unsuccessfully. Even tried smaller amounts as well as larger. I tried several times to contact the call centre who don't answer and keep you on hold for several minutes. Gave up and tried an email from their site and had a response after waiting 2 days. I too was asked for personal banking information details which I wanted to top up my card from. At this point I became a bit suspicious. I sent an email threatening to inform the 'Money Expert' type sites and am still waiting for a response. Fortunately I only had £10 on the card. My point would be go elsewhere.

Concerned why all these bad reviews? Where is the CEO and their statement?

I am awaiting my card in the post. There are some awful reviews on here and I will be watching closely. I may not even use my card yet which cost me 99p. Some of the happy reviews look and sound staged. The CEO or someone in a position of authority needs to make a statement. Looking a bit cow-boy-ish for my liking. How can someone lose £430?! What??
