However, by comparing different call plans to the way you intend to use your mobile, you will be able to find a call plan that fits your requirements perfectly.

When choosing a mobile call plan the first decision you have to make is whether you want to pay as you go or sign up to a contract where a fixed number of call minutes and text messages are included in a monthly tariff. If you frequently call and text other mobiles and landlines then a contract may be best for you, alternatively, if you rarely intend to make calls on your mobile and want one 'just in case' then a pay as you go option may be better.

Another important factor to consider is the quality of network coverage in your area. For people who live in a large town, city or other densely populated area this is not likely to be a deciding factor as most of the major networks will have excellent coverage where you live. However if you are based in a more rural area it is advisable to check which network provides the best coverage in your area as its pointless having a mobile phone if you can never get signal.
