Section nine Travelling Overseas
Your Pet is covered whilst in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Channel Islands and including Eire but only up to a maximum stay of 30 days during the Period of Insurance.
In accordance with the European Economic Community regulations this insurance also extends to cover Your Pet under the PETS Travel Scheme whilst temporarily located in any member country of the PETS Travel Scheme (Excluding non EU listed countries as defined by DEFRA), but only for a maximum stay of ninety (90)
days during the Period of Insurance in respect of Silver Cover or unlimited overseas travel during the Period of Insurance in respect of Gold and Platinum plans.collapse

Section seven Death from accident
What is covered
We will pay You the purchase price of Your Pet as declared on the statement of insurance, up to a maximum of £250 (silver), £750 (gold) or £1,500 (platinum) dependent on the cover selected, in the event Your Pet dies from Accident or in the event of humane destruction, if certified by a Vet as necessary to alleviate incurable and inhumane suffering of the Pet, due to Accident.
The cost of cremation up to £100 if Your Pet dies or is put to sleep by a Vet as a result of an Accident covered by this Policy.collapse

All policies automatically include access to the following help lines:
10.1 Healthcare away from home
If You and Your Pet are away from home whilst in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands and Your Pet needs urgent Veterinary care, the Company gives You access to Our help lines so We can identify the nearest Vet for You - Telephone: 0845 602 6764 - lines are open from 8am to 6pm weekdays and 9am to 2pm on Saturdays.

Section eight Accidental damage
What is covered
We will pay up to £500 (Gold and Platinum only) following accidental damage to personal property not owned by or in the custody or control of You caused by Your Pet. The payment made will take into account the pre incident age and condition of the damaged item(s).
What is not covered
We will not pay for:
1. The first £100 of each and every claim.
2. Damage to property in the ownership, custody or control of You or Your family or household or any person employed by members of Your household.
3. Damage to property in the ownership or any person entrusted with the care, control and custody of the Pet named in the schedule.
4. Any damage occurring whilst Your Pet is left Unattended.

j) Any claim for cryptorchidism (retained testicle(s).

What is covered
Fees for Alternative Medicine or Complementary Medicine which the Vet recommends and as pre-approved by Us, including up to twelve sessions of hydrotherapy provided the pool operators are members of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association. (The 12 sessions of hydrotherapy apply on a per Condition basis for Silver and Gold
and per Period of Insurance for Platinum).
What is not covered
2. Veterinary fees in connection with:
m) Fees for Alternative Medicine or Complementary Medicine that have not been approved by Us.
1.Definitions
Any word or expression to which a specific meaning has been attached will bear the same meaning throughout this Policy.
Alternative Medicine:
Means herbal or homeopathic medicine.
Complementary Medicine:
Means physiotherapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, hydrotherapy and chiropractic Treatment.
