Pensions are long term investments. You may get back less than you originally paid in because your capital is not guaranteed and charges may apply.

Legal & General Pension Reviews

My husband's Legal & General Pension

by jan-jan, 4 weeks ago
Much better than money purchase, security
Poor lad has to work when he hates it.

He's lucky enough to have a Final Salary scheme, and I'd benefit whatever happens, so I'm counting it as mine too. God forbid, but if he goes before me I'd get half his entitlement plus his contributions (5% x 25 years of salary) plus 4 x his current salary. No consolation, but it would help me out with the mortgage and loans and living expenses and we've discussed it, so life will hopefully go on. Not in any meaningful sense, obviously.

My pension investment in safe hands

Legal & General are one of the leading pension providers and it is easy to see why. Well tried and tested. They were recommended and I am glad I followed this up. Very efficient and quick service. Their quote was the best one with the best conditions. All documentation was simple and clear to follow and understand. Since setting this up, all payments have been regular and correct. I feel my pension is in safe hands and when I have made telephone queries, they have been answered quickly and to my satisfaction. There is a pension maze out there, with so many companies bidding to manage your hard earned savings and pension. I can only say from experience and past insurance dealings, that Legal & General are very reliable and trustworthy. Why not ask for a quote and/or advice or a meeting with no obligations?

Pension Annuity

by johnanon, 1 month ago
Inflexible

I took this out about two years ago when annuity rates were dropping and dropping and thought best do it now before it's worthless. Annuities are so unfair. The rates are pathetic but the fat cats have their big London offices. Thank goodness people nowadays have real flexibility. I'm doing drawdown on my other pension which has a bit more flexibility.

Works Pension Legal and General

by markrob96, 1 month ago
regular correspondence and statements
Recommended by markrob96

I currently have a Pension through my employer with Legal and General , I've only been with them for the past 4 years , I pay my contributions monthly and the company also puts in a generous amount . I'm kept informed regularly with statements and correspondence explaining my expected final Monies with regards to new terms or benefits. So I cant comment on the long term . It's a Stakeholders Pension and the more you put in the better the end result
