HSBC - Where are they when you need them?

I've been banking with this company over 10 years. I have a good job, but due to the fact that my husband lost his business during financial crisis, we started to experience some money constraints. Both of us have secure jobs and needed a loan to support my studies. HSBC totally refused me, despite the fact that my repayments after paying off the previous loan are going to be £30 a month more. Two years ago they showered us with letter offering anything we want and now- totally opposite. Interesting, the banks kill the economy, get taxpayers money and punish us for not being able to meet their standards. What about meeting ours? Disgusting.

Held for many years at a time money needed most

Had this loan for years and dread to think how much interest I have paid. Looking to clear within the next 2 years. Suits me fine at the moment as on a reduced interest rate

Easy to manage

Hsbc loans, rubbish

I have been with HSBC for over 35 years, I put over 3 grand a month through my account, I have a joint account that my GF and I use, I have a savings account and a Credit card that is always paid off. I applied for a loan for 5 grand for a car, my account has 4 grand in it today, and I get told my loan has beeen accepted but cannot be processed because they have no ID for me. Thier Customer Service department, didnt think I was important enough to talk to, They are no longer a bank you can talk to, Im going to the Black Horse they know how to keep thier customers, am so disgusted after 35 years

They treat their customers liike numbers, disgusting
