Responsive Insurer

Generally well supported with advisor who is competent and knowledgeable about competitor's product. Beat my quote when I gave them one and offered me a better deal with same cost but more coverage. UK based call centre for any queries. I have also found they are really prompt and reply to my call quickly, which is unlike some other insurers.

Flexible in terms.

Best Life Insurance on the planet

Been with them the longest, over 25 years, completely trust them to do the right things for their customers, very good policies and has everything to suit me and my family, staff are superb, i can't say a single bad word about them, will be with them for life. I have recommended all my family to use them and what you save is really worth it and gives you 100% piece of mind.

Valued, Trusting, No.1

Takeovers affected policy conditions

Policy was originally with Scottish Amicable and was then taken over by Prudential. When I took it out it was life insurance linked to unit trusts which paid bonuses if life insurance not paid out.I could claim bonuses after 10 years. When policy moved to Prudential it became clear that it would be disadvantageous to claim bonuses before policy held for 30 years. 30 years is now up and payout is excellent but I didn't expect to wait this long. I recommend anyone taking out a similar policy full understands the conditions. Prudential were very helpful when I queried this 10 years ago and clearly explained the implications of cashing in early.

Prudential Life Insurance

I did not choose this company but they took over the company my life insurance was with before. I dont know much about them but pay the money and they cover me and my husband for £100,000 should we die, we have had it for nearly 15 years, it is a fixed term, just to cover our lives while our children are at school. We wont renew it as we would be able to manage now if one of us should die.

Fine ... won't know until I die though!

No comments to make really - fairly cheap but benefits and customer service will not be known until I pass.

Application was easy and annual updates are easy to understand so no complaints here but ask me again when I am on the other side!

Well known, reputable company.
