The maximum age for children's critical illness cover is age 17 attained. Children's critical illness cover Scottish Provident will cover all of the children of the life assured, including step-children and children that have been legally adopted, from 30 days old until their 18th birthday for 50% of the main critical illness benefit up to a maximum of £20,000.

Max Age for Life Cover Buy-Back

The life buy-back option maximum age is 59 attained. Buy-back option When the life assured selects death or earlier critical illness benefit or critical illness benefit with definition A, B or C, they can select the buy-back option. This option allows the life assured to take out additional critical illness cover when they make a critical illness or total permanent disability claim and the claim is accepted. The life assured must be under age 60 when they make the claim to effect this option.
