Ageas home insurance via castle cover

This company reckons carpets are not covered on standard accidental damage insurance but, windsurfers and sailboards are. What a load of rubbish. Just trying to get out of paying up so have referred it to the ombudsman. Do not insure with any company who use Ageas as underwriters.

Don't insure with this company or use them as underwriters.

After making our very first claim in over 10 years for a leak they refused to insure us again. However, they were more than happy to take our money before a claim was made. So beware!!!

home insurance which my policy did not cover

Terrible from start to finish dealing with my claim...very poor communication..too many loop holes..be very careful. Seems you have to pay a very high premium to have any kind of poor cover. When my policy expires will be going with a more reputable company. My experience was very disappointing. Seems my accidental damage cover did not really cover accidents

very poor cover and lack of communication along with abrupt telephone

Ageas insurance - super fast and friendly!

When we recently had a house fire, i phoned my insurance company the next morning, and the cleaners were sent out three hours later! Also they phone regularly to check on progress and to find out if you are happy with the works.

Quick sevice, friendly efficient staff!

Minor clause on the policy - need to read carefully!

Avoid ageas and property consortium - poor service and care

In January 2012 a major storm hits East Kilbride and damages the roof of my elderly Mother's block of flats. The flats are occupied by 12 other residents and she paid a significant amount to this company for her building insurance. Each of the other 11 residents of the flats (Insured by other companies) got paid for the damage and the council confirm the damage to the roof was storm related (Report the insurance companies refuses to obtain). They have refused to payout and then ignore her claim, emails and calls. The icing on the cake is they now send her a renewal notice significantly increasing her premiums. They refuse to make any contact with her and I warn you this is an organisation that should be avoided. They pay more attention to shareholders than policy holders. The claim value was only 240 pounds and they leave her high and dry. STAY CLEAR...HIGHLY UNETHICAL ORGANISATION.

STAFF FAIL TO RESPOND TO COMMUNICATIONS AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY
