Typical bills are for default standard tariffs for customers paying by quarterly cash and cheque without prompt payment discounts. Average usage 13,500 kWh pa of gas and 3,200 kWh pa of electricity. Cheapest tariffs are monthly direct debit.

If you'd prefer to pay the same each month then it's not for you.

You only pay for what you use each month as you email them the reading, this avoids over payments and refunds etc. If you don't send a reading they estimate that month and you will then be back in sinc the next month with your actual reading.
