This document sets out the way money.co.uk will deal with disputed user-generated content posted in the money.co.uk community.
This process extends to: reviews, questions, answers, discussions, responses, deals and comments posted by community members.
User-generated content is automatically posted live on money.co.uk when added by a member – it’s not possible or feasible for us to manually review each one.
Doing so would undermine the site’s integrity and defeat the object of allowing users to give honest reviews about the products & services they’ve used or otherwise share their knowledge, opinion or personal experience.
We are conscious that falsified reviews and incorrect information is of no benefit so will remove any review or post that can be shown as factually incorrect or unsubstantiated in some other way.
If you wish to dispute user-generated content posted on money.co.uk please email:

If information posted by a member of the money.co.uk community is contested or reported as problematic we will investigate.
If the complaint is raised by a company we will ask both the member to provide proof supporting the disputed claims, and the company to provide evidence contradicting them.
If the claims cannot be substantiated we will permanently remove the post, if they can be substantiated then it will remain on money.co.uk.
We aim to resolve all disputes within a period of two weeks. Reviews will remain on the website whilst we investigate.
Companies will be able to officially respond to user-generated content posted on money.co.uk by becoming an ‘Expert’ or 'Company Representative' within the money.co.uk community.
