Transfer Assistance:
Transfers assistance is provided. Upon receipt of the customer's signiture, RBS will arrange the rest.
They will set up all Direct Debits and standing orders, arrange the transfer of any salary/pension payments and close the existing bank account after regular payments have been confirmed and set up.
They will also ensure the transfer is completed at no inconvenience to the customer.

- transfer money instantly from Royal Bank savings accounts to Royal Bank current accounts;
- keep a record of finances - view and print statements up to 6 months old;
- transfer money to a friend's or family member's bank account, anywhere in the UK;
- save time paying essential bills without the need to call into the bank or post office;
- set up a standing order online to make regular transfers to whomever the customer wants;
- see the details of all the standing orders and Direct Debits on the account and even cancel them online;
- quickly and securely order new cheque books and pay-in books online;
- telephone and e-mail support available from 8am to midnight, 7 days a week.
Branch Banking:This account can be operated through a branch.
Telephone Banking:
Direct Banking allows the customer access to their Royal Bank account by telephone, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Most everyday transactions can be carried out over the phone and only people the customer authorises can access their accounts. The key benefits are:
- get up-to-the minute information of balances;
- pay routine bills like gas, electricity and regular suppliers;
- transfer funds between accounts and any other UK bank account;
- set-up, amend and cancel standing orders;
- review and cancel direct debits;
- stop a cheque;
- notify of any change of address;
- request a full or mini statement;
- order a cheque book or pay in book;
- report lost or stolen cards.
Post Office Banking:Transactions cannot be made at a Post Office branch.
Standing Orders:Standing order facilities are available.
Direct Debits:Direct debit facilities are available.
BACS Transfers:Electronic/telegraphic transfers are permitted from this account.
