Focused on customer service

I have had a current acccount with Nationwide for many years, and have never had any if the problems that have been associated with the banks in recent years. Nationwide is building society, so not focused on making profits for their shareholders. Another big plus, is that their call centre is in Britain and any problem has been resolved the first time without being transferred all round.

Everything you want

For me Nationwide are fantastic, I have been with them since I was a child and have continued with them as an adult. I pay no fees, I get full internet banking, it's a Visa direct debit card and is so easy to use. There are never any problems and their customer service is fantastic, whether it's online, on the phone or in branch. Would definitely recommend every time!

Reliable, would definitely recommend

My husband and I have had accounts with Nationwide for over 15years and we've never had a problem. Their helpful both in branch and on the phone and their on-line banking is great. I've never bothered checking if their rates are the best, as I wouldn't change to another account as getting a great service, a branch on the highstreet and decent opening times is more important

Nationwide Flexplus Account

Saw an advert for it, offers various benefits for £10 per month Includes breakdown cover, mobile phone cover, travel insurance amongst other benefits. I've only been in it a couple of months and not had any need to make claims or really use the benefits. It has saved me money as I have been able to cease other insurances and there is peace of mind too

Good value for money

Nationiwide - a personal service

If you want a bank that cares about its customers then Nationwide is for you. I do most of my banking in the branch and it's feels good to be greeted by name when I visit. Nevertheless they are scrupulous with security checks which is very reassuring. My branch is a friendly place with excellent service, even on a busy Saturday morning.

Personal service

Haven't discovered any.
