Tony's Review Nat West

Worth considering among all the options available, however I have limited experience of other institutions. They are generally good and quite reliable although have not used most of their services. I have been with them for over fifteen years. Customer service is variable though and can sometimes be very good but occasionally poor. They do a telephone review which takes considerably longer than they say it will.

Why I'm moving to another bank

I have been with natwest for many years. The staff in the main have been kind and helpful and two members in particular helped me through a tight spot. However in recent years they have become so vast and so focused on teams that they have lost the ability to respond to individuals. Their products are reasonable but they are let down by their procedures.

Came back to Natwest after a brief change

I found it really easy to apply for a new joint account with my partner. It was a really straight forward and quick process, with support along the way.

My only negative feedback was that the automatic switch did not go well. 2 companies did not change my bank details over for direct debits, and claimed they did not receive anything from Natwest. In the future I would ring and do this myself so I know its done right.

NatWest current account

They were extremely helpful in setting up my account, the current policies and services provided are very satisfactory. I am happy with the overall service. I would highly recommend this. Overdraft monthly fees are low. Online banking is easy to use. I have been with this provider for many years and experienced no problems.
