Repayment Option Plan · The client will be eligible to enrol in the Repayment Option Plan (the 'Plan') after their Account has been opened · The Plan enables the client to freeze their Account in the event that they or their family experience a difficult financial circumstance (detailed in this section). While their Account is frozen, interest will not accrue, the client will not be obliged to make any repayments or pay any charges and they will not be able to use their Card or Account. The Plan is not insurance · The client can enrol in the Plan by either: requesting the Plan from one of Vanquis' New Account Representatives or; by calling Customer Service or; via Vanquis QuickCall · The cost of enrolment is additional interest of 0.79% per month (9.48% per annum) of the client's Account balance at the end of each monthly statement period ('Plan Interest'). If the client is retired, unemployed or permanently disabled, the Plan Interest will be 0.69% per month (8.28% per annum) of their Account balance · Plan Interest will be billed directly to the client's Account each month · Once enrolled in the Plan, the client can activate the Plan if: a) one or more of the following events (as applicable) happens; and b) the client contacts Customer Service; and c) the client provides Vanquis with reasonable evidence of the relevant event. After any of the above events cease to apply (or after 12 months if sooner), interest will accrue again and the client will be obliged to continue their repayments and pay any applicable fees and charges · Once enrolled in the Plan, the client's Account has been open for at least 6 months and is in order, and the client gives Vanquis at least 14 days notice, they may choose to take a payment break from their obligations to pay the Minimum Repayment for one month per year.
