Credit Card Balance Protector
The balance protector provides life cover ensuring any outstanding balance, up to a maximum of £15,000, less any arrears, is repaid in the event of death. In addition, in the event of unemployment or disability, 10% of the outstanding balance will be repaid each month, subject to a maximum of £1,500, for up to 12 months in any one claim. Any outstanding balances greater than £15,000 are not covered by this policy.
The customer is eligible if they are a UK resident, 18 or over and under 65 and in employment for at least 16 hours per week. Special conditions apply if they are self-employed, are in temporary or fixed-term contract work and/or have a pre-existing medical condition.collapse
