Although it did help me out at the time and they will give you a limit suitable to your income, as I am terrible at managing money it was a bad idea for me to apply for it. Any type of credit like this should always be avoided in my eyes. Customer service is good they are very helpful if you cant afford the installments they want they will negotiate.
As far as I remember, I got this card because there was an incentive. I don't remember what the incentive was - perhaps money or a shopping voucher. I continued with it because of the loyalty points known as "Your Points". These are ok, but their value has diminished over the years, so that more points are needed for the same "reward". Paying the card is easy, you can do it by online banking or by automated phone call. If you want to talk to a person on the phone, for payment or any other reason, you can do so without delay. Logging into the Your Points website (not the same as Ulster Bank site) has not always been easy, but the login system has improved in recent years. To get this card, you don't need to belong to Ulster Bank, or even live in Northern Ireland.
Ulsterbank credit card provides help when you need it
I used Ulsterbank to get my first credit card. I never wanted to ever have a credit card, until I realised that most people use them. I could only trust myself to get an Ulsterbank credit card, as they were always reliable for my savings. I'm glad I chose Ulsterbank for my credit card.
