I have had this credit card for about thirty years. During that time I have not experienced any negative problems with customer service. Fraudulent transactions were dealt with by customer services quickly and efficiently and full refunds were made. Lost and stolen cards were replaced quickly. Security checks are made on transactions from time to time, which is comforting to know, but not so frequently they are a nuisance. Since the introduction of the 'Your Points' scheme, I have had the pleasure of acquiring a number of treats using the accumulated points which would otherwise have been costly. Paying the full amount of each statement ensures I do not incur additional costs.
Good Customer Service - this is a friendly service - Understanding - had service for many years - would recommend to friends . On line Banking easy to use - clarity of charges and fees. Security seems also to be good. This an overall good service - I have the Gold Credit Card and I am happy to retain this card as part of my financial products
They sell it as a reward card, but you would have to be a very heavy user to get much past a cheap bottle of wine every year. Even Tesco could beat their rewards. I pay my full balance every month so I can't say if the rates or charges are fair, but the rewards really are miniscule. Would I move credit card, if I really had time to shop around I probably would. They don't offend me, but truly, they don't reward me either.
I have held a credit card with Natwest for longer than I can remember now. I have never had a problem with them. We had a recent fraud on our credit card and Natwest dealt with it promptly. I found them very easy to contact and extremely professional.
Interest rates are average, I believe. Statements are clearly set out with payment details clearly displayed.
It is nice to have a credit card where you do not have to pay a yearly fee or pay for extras which you do not need. I would definitely recommend this company.
