Spend and save avois is great but get free air tickets too

I love my American Express card through British Airways. I get avoid points when I spend and also get a free partner ticket of any class to anywhere in the world if I spend £10,000 a year on my card. As a frequent flyer the added benefits are great. The only downsize is that to get the free partner ticket I have to book my flight using avoid and it's very difficult to get the flights I want, you have to be really on the ball.
