Was sick to the back teeth of big banks who were uninterested in helping me get back on my feet with endless charges for going overdrawn. All they did was kick me when i was down. Think banking have turned my finances around and got me back on my feet. Cant believe some of the reviews im reading on here. Would recommend them to anyone. As i get paid every 4 weeks and my bills go out once a month my outgoing money is different every time. I had to sit down and plan my spending every month. Now on pay day the money is put aside for the 4 weeks ahead and the rest is put on my debit card. I know exactly how much money I have to spend and can relax. If ever I need to speak to them they are friendly and helpful. I even got a text on my birthday. You dont get that personal touch from the 'big' banks just a letter to tell you how much they are charging you for not having enough money!!

Simplified my monthly income and outgoing money

I have been a think banking customer for more than five years, ever since I went bankrupt, which was largely due to Lloyds TSB and my stupidity, High street banks wont pay a DD or standing order if you don't have enough money but they send you a letter costing at the time £28 the next day they would pay it and charge you £28 for going in the red with interest then send a letter to tell which they charge £28 for, it was little things like that, with think banking you don't get that as if you are a penny short they wont pay but will send you a text telling you which is free. you can text them on a free number to find how much you have all in a few seconds. The small charge of running it is worth it and works out a lot cheaper than other banks. Not being able to get to the money that has been reserved for your bills well isn't that what you want, you know what's on the card account is what you have to spend. It's the best bank for me and unless you have time to monitor your bank and sort out bill payments and self control not to spend the bill money then I would say its the bank for you too, it's your choice. The only thing I don't like is the ten days waiting for a cheque to clear and three day's for cash to clear but as I mostly get paid by BACs now days it doesn't bother me, the high street banks are five days when it's a cheque anyway.

On 12th Dec 2012 my partner transferred from his Think account £1600 to my Barclays account, it never arrived. 9 weeks later we STILL have had no resolution other than 'the money is in our (THINK) holding account' We have made over 30 phone calls, an official complaint, logged it with the financial ombudsman and it looks like now we will have to take THINK MONEY to the small claims court. Customer service is non existant DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY

I can speak to money manager on 0845.... number. but there is nothing they can explain. I'll really appreciate if you do not open account with. Specially if you have high pressure or high Sugar.

Well, i have been with them for about 2 years now and apart from a couple of very easily solvable glitches, never had a serious problem. If you get money sent to your account and have not notified them, simply text to their text number that you want to change something and you get a call back from them (tis what i do) When Natwest and RBS had their problems, i didnt get my wages put in my account so i informed TB who transferred money over which i managed to get there and then. Overall, excellent service, excellent customer care and would recommend them to anyone wanting hassle free banking.

Pretty much everything.

On rare occasions, certain atm's wont allow you to withdraw money.

They are utterly useless. The idea of 2 accounts is great but it NEVER works. They are unable to ever transfer the correct amount over to your card account. They do not hold the correct monies from the correct receipts EVER. You have to wait on the phone an average of 15-30 mins before you van speak to an advisor. In the RBS issue they were a disgrace and left myself and 3 children with NO MONEY AT ALL for 5 days. The extra telephone support line was constantly engaged. I will be making a formal complaint. YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF USING SMOKE SIGINALS AND CARRIER PIGION STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
