Virgin broadband

I am a landlord and 3 of my properties have Virgin Broadband. I have spent over 7 hours on the phone trying to get one account transferred (it still hasn't been done after over 9 weeks of 'discussion'). The product is fine and fast - but their service and support are beyond incompetent. I don't have the time or energy to detail what happened over these 7 hours of calls but you would need to invent new words just to describe how bad they are. As we stand they are about to cut off the service to our tenants, even through they haven't actually set it up yet - but that hasn't stopped them taking money from our bank account without a direct debit mandate - and then charging us for late payment fees - all whilst there is not account..

Customer service are pleasant.

Customer service are grossly incompetent and incapable.

After receiving the contract price increase letter I phoned to cancel my contract. I was informed by Virgin that it would cost me £150 to cancel the contract as I had 8 months remaining and that the price increase clause was written into the contract. I would encourage anyone who is not happy with their contract price increase to be wary as if you do not accept Virgin will lie and try to use the threat of a cancellation fee!!! Got the contract cancelled (charge free) but I wouldn't ever use Virgin again.

I love my Virgin Credit card. Virgin really know how to reward customer loyalty, a rare quality these days. I was really fed up of being on the switching for 0% cycle and then I found Virgin... they always have 0% offers on not only purchases and Balance Transfers but on money transfers to your current account. SO I can get an instant cash boost when I desperately need it. NO More switching for me.. 1 Card does it all

I love my virgin credit card! The interest free balance transfers and new purchases have allowed me such flexibility with my money that I have been able to afford things I would have been able to otherwise - such as an amazing trip to New York! A word of caution though, this card is only good if you are disciplined about your re-payments! Otherwsie the temptation is too great. Also if you default on a paymnet you lose the promotional rates so could land in a whole heap of trouble! But if you use it wisely it's great!

I used Virgin Media for phone, TV and broadband. I have had problems with my line several times, but after finally explaining the problem to the call centre staff and being understood, an engineer was quick to come out to solve the problem. It is good that extra line rental doesn't need to be paid.

Supportive helpful people came round to install it. They were polite and friendly and really good at answering all my questions. We got the landline as part of a wider broadband deal and don't actually use the landline, but it is there in case we want to install a landline telephone. Very reasonable price and we have a direct debit set up so we have very little paper work and it just goes from our account at a fixed rate every month.

Absolutely LOVE this product. Everything seems to work well. The service is brilliant, the staff are very polite, easy to understand and above all very helpful. I made an unfortunate mistake with my account and they were VERY understanding and dropped charges and fees. Get a lot of offers and benefits on the account too.

They sent me the Visa card, I don't think I've used it, seem to be a joint account with the chargecard from Amex. It's administered online, no problems with it. I use it for business expense to keep it separate. I think it comes with some benefits which I haven't used. The online security access seems good, uses a picture so you know you've got the right site. pay it off by debit card or direct from a bank account, free and gives virgin miles which I've never bothered spending. The interest free period is a bit short, no sooner get the bill and it has to be paid

Quick and Easy installation. Cheap. The signal strength seems quite low as have alot of 'deadspots' around the house.
