My first ever loan I got loan which was fine when I had it, I paid monthly on time every month. Once the loan was completely paid off I applied for another loan a few months later, but I was refused. I had nothing to make my credit rating bad in the meantime, so I had to get a loan through someone else where the Interest wasn't as good.

I have our bicycle insurance within my home cover from Sainsbury's. It is really good, with a really helpful, English customer service department. The price is extremely competitive and you also get Nectar points when you pay. They can offer other services but you are not pestered by any phone calls from them just information sent with your policy documents. Very easy and smooth service with them. I will be renewing again next year as long as the price is still competitive.

Don't know what to say really, I have insurance for my bikes along with other items and it seems to be fine, but as nothing has happened to my bike (or the other items), i can't tell you if it's any good or not really. I'm sure if I needed to make a claim they would be fine about it and sort it out, but I don't know for sure as i've never used it.

Its insured my bike

You get 6 months interest free credit for purchases and you earn extra nectar points for the initial 6 months. After this point you still earn nectar points and extra ones if you buy your shopping or fuel from sainsburys. They send everything in the post so there is no hassle. You can set a direct debit up to pay account automatically.

Loads of nectar points

We are presently using Sainsbury's for a second time in taking out a bridging loan. That speaks for itself. We had no negative experiences with the first loan so were more than happy to use Sainsbury's again when the need arose. We needed a loan to consolidate outstanding debts and found that the repayment rate offered would save us a very noteworthy amount compared to the ongoing option of repaying each outstanding debt separately. This has enabled us to have money available for other things which obviously we would not otherwise have had. We are looking forward to seeing it paid off. The customer service department has always been very courteous and I have never had to wait long to be dealt with. The overall service has been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.

Ease of getting set up, courteous, no long queues at customer service

when I tried to purchase an item on e-bay for an unusually large amount of money they contacted me and checked my I.D and ensured that I did indeed want to purchase this item. They get top marks from me for their competence in security checks as I know of people using other cards who have had very bad experiences in the past with a lot of trouble getting refunds

great security

I like Sainsburys as a supermarket so it makes sense to have a Sainsburys card as I can earn extra Nectar points. I don't convert them to other things - just money off.

Easy to use banking website, Nectar points
