Plusnet are very good at setting up the broadband account. They were very efficient at getting us started up. We have had a problem a couple of times with the service and these issues were dealt with swiftly. Their customer services are excellent and you are able to get through to them on the phone easliy, unlike other broadband providers!

I used them as they were cheap with an English call centre. I recommended them to my disabled step mother and mum and step dad. They hounded my step mum, despite my calls to them to say she was seriously ill in a home and had not used (but had paid for )broadband for over a year and would they cancel. Instead, they sent the bailiffs round as I did not know her password and she 'would not write or phone'. And when they constantly over 3 years hashed my dads broadband and he left, they have constantly hounded him for his direct debit details (he is 87) even after giving him a mac code.

Insistant on payment, even from the critically ill. No leeway at all

I find Plusnet excellent. I do not have great IT skills but I am never made to feel a fool when I phone them up about another problem i have created. All the staff who have helped me are patient explaining slowly what I need to do. Calls are answered quickly too and I never feel rushed. I have no hesitation in recommending them :)

Broadband connection quick and I am not cut off during peak periods

Some minor shenanigans transferring from BT to Plusnet which have been dealt with quickly, efficiently and courteously by Plusnet staff. BT Customer Service (especially their very aggressive Retention Team) could learn a lot from Plusnet (which is part of the BT Group). If only all Customer Service in the UK was like this, brilliant. (AMEX is the same) Even a refund due because of an error was dealt with only 1 email within an hour - absolutely fantastic. If you are considering changing phone and broadband, IMO you cannot equal Plusnet for the service they provide.

I have been with PlusNet for nearly three years now and I have no complaints. Our signal never drops and we never go over our 60GB monthly allowance so it always costs the same each month.

I've just had lots of router problems and they've been unfailingly helpful and supportive. They are always clear and they explain everything.

They can take over your computer and do it for you if necessary!

Good broadband at a reasonable cost. You can get discount for recommending new customers. Not had any issues with the broadband connection and you get free usage between 12 p.m and 8 a.m. which is ideal for my teenagers as they are streaming media at this time of night.

Last year when I joined Plusnet (after my old supplier stopped my broadband due to me moving)I phoned them to arrange joining. They connected me to broadband in 7 days.

I can't understand the other bad reviews I've just read. I had a problem with slow speed and crackling on my phone line. It turned out to be a BT problem which was very promptly dealt with and there is no problem now. I especially like the fact that they have a UK call centre.

Excellent Customer Service.

I was surprised to find out that they do not provide webspace.
