We've had excellent service from Natwest over the last 30 years. Prompt, courteous unobtrusive service given at all times. All queries answered/resolved satisfactorily, never had any delays, or problems with on-line banking. Would not dream of swopping banks, will stay loyal customers unless they do something really stupid!

Prompt and consistently excellent service

I found the product in the street, somebody had thrown away the leaflet it was like a gold ticket to a wonderful new world I ran filled with excitement to my nearest bank. The west bank is not a nice place and rather dangerous, I hid in a hole for a few months and when the gun fire stopped I rented a plane and flew home. At the airport I opened an account with Natwest other than the birth of my children, my wedding day, losing my virginity it was the happiest day of my life.

Easy to use online internet banking service and in house systems. I know security is important but I hate other banks that have them little secure keys. I'm not going to carry around an extra thing just to look at how much money I have in my bank. I think the best bank to use is Natwest not only because of easy to use internet banking but also because of their in house systems which are free and quick to learn. The bank itself has services in which I can get money even if I don't have my card with me.

Have been a customer for over 30 years. In branch service has always been excellent. What has started to irritate me now though is that if I use my approved overdraft for even just one day I now incur a £6 monthly charge. Have never really thought about switching but am now really considering it as I think the charges are a real rip-off! Always been a bit hesitant because of the hassle but will move accounts in the next year

The good thing about my National Westminster current account is that in the twenty plus years I have had the account I have had no problems whatsoever. I changed to NatWest just before I moved to where I now live. Any changes I have had t make have always been nice and easy. The staff at my local National Westminster Banks are always friendly and helpful and once I have got something changed it has always worked first time. I now have my account on line and that is easy to manage there as well. As I am now retired, just after retirement I visited the Local Branch and updated them with my new situation and once again a lot of things got changed and all went through first time. There is not much else to say other than I would advise anyone who is having problems with there Bank to seriously consider National Westminster as a Bank to change to. I have never used the telephone banking service so can not make any remarks about that. I know cheque books are almost a thing of the past but both cheque books and paying in books always arrive in good time of me needing them. They do seam to have a lot more "cash machines" in there branches now, there are also less staff, but this is the same with all Banks now

All goes smoothly

I am nearly 60 years old and I have has a Nat west account since I was 15. In that time they have moved my branch and closed down the branch that was closest to me. But I have been with them for 45 years and so they must be Ok for me. Clearly, like other banks they have sullied their reputation in recent times but I'm not sure that this does not apply to all banks. I hope that the chance that they got with public funding to bail them out will eventually mean a better stronger bank. I do not like their savings interest rates which are unimaginative and not a market leading return. But again this is the same as many and at least NAT west are consistent.

As with savings account, been with Natwest for 16 years. Great customer service, always helpful in the branch. We have a yearly review with Jo at the Wrexham branch who always does her best to help us save money on our spending. Including day to day bills and insurance policies, loans, credit cards and mortgage. Online banking is very good, easy to use, although slow to add transactions from the previous couple of days.

It's OK. I don't have much to compare it too but staff in my local branch are always very polite and try to keep the queue time to a minimum. I don't see this as an added bonus, this is the type of thing a bank should be doing. They do keep trying to sell me extra bits and pieces like credit cards or upgrade my account which I find annoying. I would certainly recommend my local branch in Cirencester but I'm not sure I would recommend NatWest as a whole.

The staff at the my local branch are very helpful without being pushy. They sometimes suggest services that might benefit me but never over sell anything. The branches are well set out and I very rarely have to wait long to be served. There on-line services are also very good and the website is very user friendly. I also like the phone app which makes payments and transfers a doddle

Natwest are a very reliable bank, I have never had any problems with them. Have always been able to sort out any issues if they arise. Including when someone stole my debit card details and used it on line. they sorted and refunded the transaction. Certain tranactions were then check every so often to check that there were no more issues.
