Icesave

After the nationalisation of parent company Landsbanki and subsequent suspension of all Icesave savings accounts, the UK government have stepped in to fully guarantee British saver\'s deposits held with the Icelandic bank. The Financial Services Compensation Scheme is currently in the process of co-ordinating compensation and all savers that held funds with Icesave should expect to receive remuneration by Christmas.
