The headline rate with this account is 2.80%. It's great for holding money when waiting for bills and standing orders to come due. It, as its name states is only accessible online, but is easily opened and displayed with my other Lloyds TSB group accounts. Once the year is up I'll wait and see what they are offering in its place but will have to move if nothing as good is around as the rate drops to a mere 0.10%. The opening balance was only ?1

Unlimited transactions. Reasonable headline rate of 2.80%

Will drop to 0.10% after the 1 year term, so hunt for something better

A basic current account, with no frills or incentives. It gives cheque book, debit card and an agreed overdraft.

For me, continuity, as I have had the account for many years

There are no incentives other than, there is no upfront charges!

Over a certain amount, you are entered into a monthly prize draw (well, someone's got to win it!!) Interest rate average, but I found their paperwork/systems much more helpful than some I've had.

Interest rates are neither better nor worse than comparable easy access savings accounts offered by the competition. However, where the Bank of Scotland has the edge over the competition is it's helpful staff who go the extra mile to provide you with good service and advice.Like all similar savings accounts, the interest rate drops after a year,so you need to remember to switch to a new account.

Easy access with no penalties for withdrawals

Great rate cash ISA, 3.2% and that was during the worst part of the recession (so far..) abd it's really flexible as you can view your account online, making it easy to manage your savings and transfer money in or out as required. I was also able to transfer over funds I had in my previous years cash ISA without it affecting this years allowance.

able to transfer previous years ISA, good rates
