Insurance policy

In eight years of driving, I had a not at fault accident and it was a real hassle getting the money back for my vehicle.

I didn't even get what my vehicle was insured for as they told me they had sent me the value of similar cars near me in my area. They proved this with pictures they sent me of cars 80 miles away from me selling on eBay.

I had no choice but to accept their offer, as every time I phoned their complaints department I ended up waiting in a queue for several hours and then got cut off.

I am really disappointed with their service. They have been really poor all round and I will never insure with them again.

An absolutely shocking company!

I was having problems with my bank due to fraud, so had to cancel all direct debits, I tried to phone Quick-Sure because I needed to put another direct debit in place so my policy didn't get cancelled.

I have been trying to contact them for 4 days in a row, at different points of the day, they keep saying I am being held in a queue due to high volume of calls, I stay on hold for an hour each time but no one answers, they suggest emailing them and promise customers they will reply within 1 hour of the email being sent. I've also tried that and still I have had no reply after 3 days. That's 72 hours or so 71 hours over their customer promise!?

After 5 days of trying, I finally got through to a customer service assistant after 45 minutes on the phone, they were rude and told me all computers are down, and it would be easier to find a new insurance company, as I'm holding up their other customers!

They are quick enough to get hold of me when they wanted me to take out the policy, but when it comes to me needing help, they all disappear!

I am going to change my insurance company because if I do ever get involved in a problem I know they won't be there to help me!

Cheap prices but terrible turnaround on anything which means hours on end trying to contac

They are an absolute joke, no wonder there so cheap, everything about them is low quality.

I got a quote which was £1000 cheaper than anyone else, great! However my car developed issues so I sold it, I was careless so asked for a refund as paid up front a whole year.

After waiting 53 minutes to get through to customer services I was told it is usually processed in around 5 working days. 5 working days later there was still no refund, I contacted them again with an email to their customer services at 9am. I got a reply at 5pm saying that it would take 21 days for the refund to arrive.

On the 21st day, they sent the money and it took another 3-5 working days to arrive in my bank. I have rung around other insurance companies like Admiral, who say refunds arrive within 7 days including cheques.

So how can I pay instantly and they get the money immediately, whereas they can take 21 days plus the 3-5 days afterwards to refund money? Oh, I know why, because they are not even based in the UK, they're based in Gibraltar.

After reading all the bad reviews online I wish I had never used this company and instead gone with a good UK based company.

Insurance claim

I would definitely not recommend Quick-Sure they are a complete con.

My daughter took out car insurance in February of this year, I might add she passed her test the year before, had to send a copy of her driving licence etc. Unfortunately, she crashed her car on Friday the 10th of July. When I contacted them to register a claim I was told; "oh she pressed the wrong button on the computer and her insurance was invalid because it was on a provisional licence."

My question is if this is the case, they never asked for a named driver on the car. I have contacted a solicitor regarding this as I am appalled at their so called customer service.

I might also add that it takes forever to get in touch with them on the phone due to a high volume of customers but when I made the claim, all of a sudden they are readily available on the phone.

My daughter had to be cut out of the car and taken to hospital she is extremely lucky to be alive. I will make it my mission to discredit this company and will let everyone I know not to deal with this company at all.
