Avoid Allianz - Extremely poor customer service

You may get a cheaper quote, but when you need it they will say silly excuses to avoid paying you. They are big corporate thieves. If you want to complaint, try their number and you will see that there is no customer service personnel to take your complaint. They got plenty of people to sell, but no one to listen to your complaint or problems you are experiencing from them. Take your insurance else where, avoid Allianz like plague. They are bunch of burglars!!!

Allainz car insurance

I do a research every year and this year Allianz worked out the best for me. For my needs I needed comprehensive cover and with additional European driving insurance. Taking into account the lowest excesses and conditions this worked out the most economic. Few quid more expensive than the cheapest on price comparison sites but it's worth additional cover.

Very bad and highly disappointed service.

It has been over a week since we inform about the incident and submission of repair estimation. After so many emails and follow ups no action has been taken to approve or reject the estimation. Their engineers are still studying the estimation. There had no empathy to their customers, we mentioned them that we are losing business everyday that the van is idling, they just don't seems to care. They can't even provide or sanction for a courtesy vehicle. Will not recommend them to anyone and cannot wait till the renewal date to show them who is the king in this competitive market.

Courtesy Car Provision

I have had an accident which I was the cause I didn't like the repair agents offered to me in my area by the Accident management company so took the option to take it to a repair specialists I had used on a previous occasion when I asked Allianz if they would provide a Courtesy car they declined saying this only applied if I used the Nationwide recommended repair agents ! Surely if your Policy states they provide a car then they should or is it another case of "read the small print".

Horrific- do not touch with a barge pole!

I could never have believed the such an incompetent excuse for an insurance company could exist. They have repeatedly failed to correspond with me, failed to cash cheques that have been sent to them and instead, without ANY warning at all raised a CCJ against me because THEY failed to cash the cheques sent to them! Avoid, avoid, avoid unless you enjoy spending a lot of time reporting them to the FSO!
