I had a non-fault accident in October 2013 which was witnessed by an independent person, I have phoned Allianz weekly and each time I am told they are waiting for the other party to respond to them. I phoned today and have been told that the other party have accepted a 50/50 claim, to which I was unaware I had offered. When asked why we offered a 50/50 claim when it was a witnessed non-fault accident Allianz informed me it was taking too long to get a response from the other party so they thought this was easier, without asking my opinion! Have dealt with other 20 different claim handlers over the months, some of which are very rude and uninterested in my anguish! Will never use this company again.

I do a research every year and this year Allianz worked out the best for me. For my needs I needed comprehensive cover and with additional European driving insurance. Taking into account the lowest excesses and conditions this worked out the most economic. Few quid more expensive than the cheapest on price comparison sites but it's worth additional cover.

I haven't made a claim and so cannot comment about how well their claims are handled or how efficient the claims process is. Neither have I needed to speak to the administrators as everything was arranged online. However the quote was very competitive on one of the internet comparison sites and included legal protection. Communication was fast. It was a very easy process from the initial quotation to receiving the paperwork.

I chose Allianz for my car insurance simply because they were the cheapest that still allowed no claims protection and had some added extras. I have not really had to deal with their customer service, although they didn't receive my proof of no claims. This was unfortunately over the Christmas and New Year period so I was slow to pick up my emails. They were VERY quick to tell me they were cancelling my insurance, but I did manage to sort it out!

I have a claim ongoing, not my fault. I got acceptance of fault from the third party, NOT Allianz because they never actually do anything other than take your money. My premium doubled due to the ongoing claim but now that liability has been accepted do you think I can get my money out of them and my premium reduced? In the 1 year that this has been going on I have received ONE phone call from Allianz. I will also add that they sent me a cheque for £100 by way of an "apology" for their poor service, and this was 6 months ago! I will never use Allianz again and will be cancelling my policy ASAP.

Pretty straightforward so far ! no reason to question anything at present. Went with them because they were offering the most competitive policy after searching on a comparison website. Would go with them again. Will check for their other products when other policies are up for renewal. Not much else to say at this point.....

Please use car hire company insurance as the policy for extra cover by ALLIANZ proved to be totally misleading and when I tried to cancel this policy, I was told it was to close to commencement and would be passed to their research team.I continued to explain that Goldcar would not give me the car as I only had a debit card and they would not accept this as a guarantee for the excess. I was then told via email 4 DAYS later that would not be refunded payment from ALLIANZ as I already had the car.I hope anybody reading this can learn from my mistake and save wasting any of your hard earned money.

I took out Allianz car insurance through OneQuoteDirect, who charged ?50 admin fee to change number plate. When I changed my car I went directly to Allianz who were much cheaper and also waived the cancellation fee of ?53, which OneQuoteDirect had threatened to charge, in addition to their own admin fee of ?50. So, 10 out of 10 for Allianz, 0 out of 10 for OneQuoteDirect. Allianz customer services were also very pleasant and helpful.

I took out car insurance with Allianz through One Quote Direct and HALVED my annual insurance bill! ?320 per annum instead of ? 630 with my old insurance company! Exactly the same conditions.
