We ordered online and received a confirmation email straightaway . Installation took about 3 weeks as they use BT engineers to install a new phone line, then within 3 days the router was sent out. We waited for a confirmation email to tell us the broadband service is live. Then its a case of plug and play. So far so good. my speed is approx 27Mb. They have so many negative feedback i wanted to add some positive feedback.

Signed up with Plusnet to change from talktalk! Plusnet sorted it all out for me. Had a few teething problems with the Fibre due to the quality of my phone line. Plusnet sorted all this out and put new cables on the side of my house and even put in a brand new socket in a better location! Great customer service when I called. Speed is now faster than I was quoted. Super Happy

Great service and product. Have only contacted customer service to change package and no problems. I left BT because of abysmal service, they maybe need to look at the service provided by one of their offshoots (Plusnet). Surely cannot be that difficult.

Cheap
Loses connection

We live out in the sticks so we've always had broadband connection problems, but PlusNet seems considerably worse than some of the other companies we've used.

Affordable and reliable
Really can't say I've come across any negatives!

I decided to go with plusnet after visiting several compare the market sites. It did then and still does now come out as best provider for my usage.
Never had a problem, so can't really say anything about customer service!

I think they are brilliant, about to install a second line, they are always polite, helpful and friendly.Slow broadband can be due to a rubbish BT line or exchange..or even an old or overloaded computer.
I have had the most horrendous problems with BT and Talk Talk.. never being able to speak to anyone in this country who could understand the network in the UK. Plusnet tells you when you are about to exceed your broadband allowance. BT were rude and unhelpful until they thought I was going to leave when they suddenly couldn't do enough to help, likewise Talk Talk. Pity they didn't care when you are a customer.
Plusnet do care and continue to do so.

Good service provided at a very fair price with unlimited usage. Also have anytime telephone package with cheap line rental (12 months paid in advance). The total charges per month much cheaper than my previous provider with no reduction in quality etc

We chose Plusnet because their basic package offers great value for money - we live in a rural area and our broadband is so slow that there is no point in paying for high speed internet access. The customer service is mainly excellent, but falls down if there is a line fault which involves calling in BT (of which they are a part)

Only ever had Plusnet for Broadband so can't really compare. They're open to negotiation on prices and packages. When you phone for help they answer quite quickly, and you speak to an English speaker who is based in the UK. Also, the people you get through to are intelligent and able to make their own decisions.

Plusnet Broadband does what it says,it provides a very good service In Yorkshire at a very cheap rate compared to other broadband providers.
