Picture this, Sunday night in a car park on the top floor my car does not start at all. The battery is dead and there are no cars or people to ask for a jump. I called Britannia rescue and they were on the case immediately. The guy was later than I was told but it was Sunday, I had no gripe with that. He jumped the car and I was immediately on the road. Great customer service.

I have been a customer of LV Brittania Rescue for years now and would recommend them to anyone. They are reliable, good value for money, local. I found them by being a member of CSMA. They have attended our cars in the family when we have broken down and always been very reliable and courteous. We called them out on our holiday on our way to Devon and the mechanic mended our car so we could continue our journey without further delay. We arrived at our destination the same evening thanks to their swift service.

First Class Response to call out at 9pm. Could not transport to garage that late at night & retuned at 7am the next morning to recover car to garage. Took 20 minutes only to arrive following emergency call out. Engineer was very knowledgeable & extremely helpful. Contacted LV Brittania by telephone to establish that they could return to recover our vehicle very early the next morning

Product through CSMA. After I broke down (half an hour's drive from home) I waited in the car for about one hour. I was in a safe environment. I have always found the engineers pleasant, helpful and efficient. As it was late on a Sunday evening, my car was towed home and then taken to the garage subsequently on a separate trip when the garage could fit me in. The part had to be ordered, so I was advised to phone the breakdown company an hour before the breakdown lorry was needed.

I have put average marks because I have only been with this company for 6 weeks. time will tell. for that reason I don't know if i will recommend them or not. I have to go by general reviews I have read about LV, which has been positive. I was with a different insurance company previously, but their premium quote was very expensive for my car, which is not worth a great deal on market value. customer service from LV insurance company has been mixed, I did complain about a generic letter I was sent, which I deemed to be inappropriate. I will have to see how the next 10 plus months proceed before I can make an accurate appraisal. these remarks are about the insurance company, rather than the breakdown service because I have not needed them so far.
