Cut down on your Christmas posting costs this year by opting for second class stamps - as long as you're on time! Here are the last posting dates for Xmas 2013 to add to your diary.
The most important thing about your Christmas post is, of course, that it gets there on time.
However, you could save big money by getting organised and sending your festive gifts and cards out early.
Instead of leaving it to the last minute (and paying extra) you can cut your costs dramatically by choosing second class delivery.
Our table below lists all the final Royal Mail last posting dates for Christmas 2013 for the UK and abroad – so you can make sure your cards and gifts arrive in time however you choose to send them.
Christmas Day 2013 falls on a Wednesday: there will be no Royal Mail collections or deliveries on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day. In addition, there will be no collection/delivery in Scotland on 2nd January.
