What does beta mean?
We have only just launched my money and are working in ‘beta’. This means that we are making small changes to the site all the time in order to make it even more useful to you.
So, if you have an idea or a suggestion as to how we can improve my money, please let us know.

So how do I win the my money beta challenge?
The beta challenge will run for 30 days.
During this time you’ll earn Kudos as you interact with the my money community.
Put simply, Kudos is a measure of your activity on my money.
The more you interact with the my money community – by answering questions, sharing tips, adding comments, photos and resources etc - the higher your Kudos.
The higher your Kudos, the nearer you are to winning one of these amazing my money beta challenge rewards:
A luxury break in Barcelona including:
- Return flights from London to Barcelona
- 3 nights of luxury in a boutique hotel
- A breathtaking helicopter ride over the city's beautiful sky-line
- An evening of fine-dining and flamenco
- A private tour of the city's unmissable landmarks

Once the beta challenge closes - on 28th August, 2010 - the 3 my money members with the highest Kudos be named as ‘Challenge Champions’ and get their choice of the my money rewards.
The my money member with the highest Kudos will get the first pick of the rewards, the member with the second highest Kudos will get to pick from the remaining 4 rewards, and the member with the third highest Kudos will get to pick from the 3 remaining.
The top 100 runners up will all get to choose from a fantastic selection of top DVDs too!
Throughout the my money beta challenge you can use the my money leaderboard to see how you’re faring – it gives you an easy way to monitor how much Kudos you have compared to other members – and how much more you need before you’re at the top!

n.b: I am sure you will appreciate we need to ensure fair play during the Beta Challenge. Consequently, we have developed an automated monitoring system that will alert us to anyone trying to “spam” their way to the top of the leaderboard.
This includes, although is not limited to: posts made just to build Kudos without providing any valuable contribution to the my money community, and ‘unnatural’ activity between a group of members.
Anyone found to be abusing the Kudos points system will be disqualified from the my money beta challenge and will NOT be eligible to win any of the rewards on offer. The same applies to any member who creates multiple accounts.
