Each entry contains a full annual report for the charity, including contact information, the activities carried out and services provided by them, a financial profile, and other useful details such as when the charity was established and the number of current volunteers. Most importantly, the entry for each charity provides details of how you can donate.
GuideStar enables you to donate to a charity working on a specific cause that might be of particular interest to you or that is operating in your local area. You can browse the database to find a charity of your choice; for example searching by the cause you are interested in, and then narrowing your search by criteria such as the charity's location or income range.
