Money Saving TipType: Deal
Expiry: 17th Aug 2008 (Expired)
ASDA are repeating their 50p food offer and dropping the price of shopping basket essentials this weekend.
What's the deal?
ASDA are once again dropping the price of shopping basket essentials this weekend in a bid to make the weekly shop more affordable.
They're slashing the price of grocery basics such as bread, orange juice, minced beef, sausages, eggs, butter, cherry tomatoes, sweetcorn, baking potatoes and mushrooms to just 50p as part of the deal.
The price of whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk is also being cut with 2 pints down 38% to 50p, 4 pints down to £1 (from £1.44) and 6 pints down to just £1.50 (down from £2.12), giving you the perfect chance to stock up (the Food Standards Agency advises that it's safe to freeze pasteurised milk).
How do I benefit?
Simply visit your nearest ASDA store this weekend, there are 329 across the country and all will be running this offer.
Expiry
This offer expires on Sunday 17th August, 2008.
Conditions
The 50p deals are subject to availability.
