If you're between 16 and 20 years of age you could earn 10% on your current account with Alliance & Leicester.

What's the deal?

If you're aged between16 and 20, you could earn an impressive 10% on your money with Alliance & Leicester's award winning Premier 21 account.

What's more, you get a Visa debit card, access to your money 24/7 with internet banking, a 0% EAR typical overdraft* and an exclusive linked PlusSaver account that will pay 5.50% gross/AER on your savings.

How do I benefit?

Simply visit www.allianceandleicester.co.uk and open an account.

You will need to know your residential addresses for the past 5 years, details of any existing current accounts you have, information about your current employer or college and a valid email address to apply.

Expiry

The 10% rate is fixed until 30/04/2009.

Conditions

The 10% AER is payable on account balances of up to £1,000, 0.1% AER (variable) will be paid on amounts greater than this.

The account is available to UK residents between the ages of 16 and 20 who don't have a history of adverse credit, do not currently hold a Premier 21 account, or have not this type of account the past 3 months, and are able to make regular payments into the account either from a wage, allowance or an alternative income source.

* No interest is charged on agreed overdrafts however a usage fee of 50p a day (£5 max per month) is applied when in use.
