It should be quite straightforward to find out how much water your household uses each month.
Check your latest bill to find your monthly water usage total - this will be stated in cubic metres. If the bill is quarterly, divide the total by three to get an average monthly figure.
If you don't have any bills to hand, then you should contact your water company, they should be able to help you work out your average usage.
Alternatively, to work out an estimate you can use a water usage calculator like the one on the Thames Water website. It is, however, better to go on an average usage basis than an estimate unless your circumstances - and water usage - have changed substantially.
